I purchased this horn a couple of months ago from Japan as I have always been intrigued by the K valve. This one is a single valve example with a gold brass bell and is quite wonderful to play. I have a nice assortment of single valve bass bones and while this one would be the most modern of the bunch, there’s just something special about those vintage basses.
