Looking for a 5b w/ 9" bell with or without valve. Or a Holton w/ 9" bell straight or single valve. Or an 88hK bell.
Anyone?

Thx, didn't know that, although I could have sworn I've seen a straight 5b. Thx for the clarification.

It must have been a common enough modification - I've seen several straight ones over the years. The oddestome I saw someone just hacksawed off the tubing and filled the ports with epoxy. I dont recommend that!

Yes, I remember that one. It started off at Baltimore Brass. It's bell wound up on a Wessex double valve tenor prototype.

If you look on Facebook Marketplace, someone is selling a 5B in Des Moines, Iowa for $1400.

Thanks, I've seen a few. I'd like to add a Holton 159 to the list.

I believe DJ Kennedy has a few 88h bell sections for sale, I’d give him a try
