Ok, so a couple obvious questions:
Does it now sound more or less like a plastic trombone?
Was this regular rattle can paint or something fancy you had to get from Music & Arts or Musicians Friend?
The next logical step is of course gold plating.
I also have a white pBone so sky's the limit. (Shame Bob Ross is no longer with us to be commissioned.

Red & white were spray can. Blue and pink were hand painted with craft paint. Stripes are auto pinstripping.
